My kids are my inspiration…and my excuse.

Hello! My name is Trevor. I am a husband and father of four and over the years I have found out how much I like to make things. Sometimes that means working with wood, building furniture, toys, and games. Sometimes it means working with yarn to make decorations, clothes, or blankets. Sometimes it's just a matter of fixing or improving something around the house.

Whatever it is, I would rather look it up, Google it, YouTube it, and make it myself than just buy it. And here is where I chronicle all those projects. I love to involve my kids to teach them about engineering, math, creativity, environmentalism, sustainability. The list goes on and on.

I'm not a professional. I'm a Dad. My hope is that if you find yourself in need of making something, you can learn from what I have done and the mistakes I have made.
